The Baby Hunt- Crouch Family Shower- 11/7/2010

I have really been looking forward to my showers.  Time seems to have flown by so far (almost 27 weeks) and with the holidays quickly approaching I know it will go even faster, but I want to enjoy and remember every moment.

We had the Crouch Family shower Sunday.  They did such an AWESOME job with everything!  They went with "The Hunt is Over" camo theme we used at our wedding with our wedding favors, so the invite was blue polka dots, with a camo patterned stroller.  Very cute.

All the decor at the shower was camo, even the homemade carrot cake that my Aunt Rocky made.  Seriously, I don't know anyone more talented then her.  The cake was so freakin' cute that I wouldn't let anyone cut into the actual baby part, they had to eat around it.  See pics below to understand.

Then we played a ton of games.  First was locate the baby with brown hair that was hidden in the living room.  It took us like 15 minutes to find that little sucker, but I finally found him nestled in the valance.

Then there were other games before we settled down to open some gifts.  Holden is very fortunate.  We got his swing, which I know he'll love.  His Aunt Rocky made him bath towels, that so creative.  They made so that Mommy or Daddy can wrap them around us while we bathe him so we don't get wet, then once we're done, we can bundle him up to dry and keep warm.  His Mimi made him a receiving blanket and hat.  And all his Aunts and cousins got him diapers, hangers, clothes, wipes and the cutest was my twin nephews Garrett and Riley picked out their own gift, "suckers" or passy's cause every baby needs suckers.

Holden, Chuck and I thank everyone for the wonderful shower.  We had a great time and cannot wait to finish his nursery to get everything set up!
