Dash to get well

This lovely weather we are having in Texas has not been friendly to us!  Especially Holden.  Poor tooters, he had a croupy cough that started on Easter and didn't improve with the normal remedies of the humidifier, saline drops and Diamatapp.  So Daddy took him to the doctor the first of the following week.  Little man had bronchitis and an ear infection.  We started him on a steroid as well as breathing treatments every 4 hours.  This went on for 2 weeks.  At his follow up appointment, his chest was clear but since he still had a cough Dr. Kim recommended that we continue with the breathing treatments but could cut back to 3 times a day, BUT now he had double ear infections!  So more medicine for us.

Holden didn't mind, he found a way to pass the time while he got better.



Now that's how you do it like a man!



Fortunately, Holden never ran a fever and was in tip top shape for little brother to arrive.  Which is a good thing, since Hayes decided to come a little early.  Both Holden and Hayes had their first check-up together as brothers, I'll post Hayes stats shortly, but thank goodness, Holden received the all clear!  No more ear infection and no more breathing treatments.
