A Christmas Blessing
What an exciting time of year! Christmas has always been mine and Chuck's favorite time of year, and adding our sweet baby boy to our family is the best gift anyone could ever ask for. It seems like this month has flown by, we've had holiday parties every weekend, photo ops with Santa, Chuck and I had a date night, Holden attended his first candlelight service and after Santa's visit last night, we need a bigger house just to hold all of Holden's toys. What a blessed little boy we have. Here are just a few pics of this months activities:
We've had such an amazing month. Chuck and I are so very blessed, through all the ups and downs, good times and bad, I'm so very thankful that God gave me him and him is twofold, my loving husband and my beautiful son. God knew what he was doing when he gave me my boys! I love being their wife and mommy. I love you boys, thank you for making my life complete.
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas! May you remember the spirit of this holiday season and be blessed in the New Year.

Gobble Gobble...HaPpY TuRkEy DaY
Needless to say, Holden was stuffed. Not only on some yummy Thanksgiving grub, but on love and fun with his new toys from Pop and Nonna. Since they may not see him on Christmas, they wanted to watch him play and enjoy his presents. I cannot wait to see him on Christmas morning, as excited as he was to see his new toys this past week I can only imagine how he will light up with a lit tree, presents, stockings and all the joy and excitement Christmas brings with it.
We all had a really nice Thanksgiving. It was relaxing and we enjoyed the company. Holden discovered he enjoyed feeding himself, or at least attempting to feed himself. He did pretty well, not ALL of it ended up all over his face, some of it did make it into his mouth.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING.........AND.......HAPPY 10 MONTHS!!!!!

Holden's Dedication
On Saturday, Nov. 19th, along with our family and a few close friends, Chuck and I made a promise to Holden and to God, to raise Holden in a home that follows Christ and serves in his church. It was an amazing day. My most favorite part of the evening was when we were praying with the pastor and Holden reached up and touched my face with his little hand. I lost it, I had done so good the entire evening until that moment. I love my baby boy so much. He is the light of our lives and we are so blessed that God chose us to be his mommy and daddy.
We are also so blessed that Holden not only has 6 loving grandparents, but he also has 3 GREAT grandparents the love and adore him very much. We are so very lucky that Holden will get to know them and have their influence in his life. My Mimi wasn't able to make it, as she traveled to Kansas with my Aunt Rocky to see my cousins. But Great PawPaw and GG (which is short for great-grandmother) were there. Love these memories that were made today. Just seeing how my grandparents light up when they see Holden.......
Grammy and G-Pa, Pop and Nonna and Uncle Bo were also there.
Thank you everyone for sharing this day with us. It meant so much to have our family and friends there to support us and to know that so many love and cherish our little boy as much as we do.

What do we have here?
So I know one day Holden is going to be mortified by my hilarious blogging abilities and I will probably have to bribe him in some way to allow me to continue. Actually, up until this point, most of my post have been very sweet and just show him in his ages/stages.
However, last night was just too funny not to share. While giving Holden his bath, he discovered a little something in the water. This something was so amusing to him, that he completely ignored the other bath toys to explore his new discovery.
**Please note, I tried my hardest not to capture in the video certain private areas, but slipped a few times. I promise I'm not trying to exploit my son.**
Of course, I also took this opportunity of him actually being confined to one spot to capture his "bye-bye" which makes me so proud. Next up, blowing kisses and of course teaching him that it is NOT ok to "explore" this area in public.
Mommy really loves her little man, every moment is an amazing memory that I will hold in my heart for always and forever. Some memories he'll probably wish I'd erase.

Happy 9 Months~ My Little Pumpkin
Holden turned 9 months this past Monday. Its hard to believe that he is as old as the months that I carried him. I remember every moment of my pregnancy with him. The day I found out I was pregnant, the first time I felt him flutter, when we found out she was a he, all the way until the wee hours of the morning when my water broke. Every moment a wonderful memory. I am so in love with my sweet angel. Each day I learn more and more how strong the bound is between a mother and her baby boy. Holden might say "dadda" but he is and will always be momma's boy.
Happy 9 months sweet boy.
STATS:
Weight: 22 lbs 9.6 oz (80%)
Height: 29" (75%)
He is a mover and a shaker these days. You leave him in one spot and find him in another. He has started to stand without holding on, not but for a few seconds, but still getting pretty brave. He also side shuffles when holding on to something, so its only a matter of time before he takes his first steps. He has learned to wave bye-bye when prompted and he gives the best kisses. Such a mans man too, he'll give momma, Grammy and GG (Great Grandmother) kisses when asked, but he wont give daddy kisses.
Words: Dada, duck, nunna (which I think means momma) and he has another sound he makes a lot and I think it is puppy, but still working on that one.
Foods: has has eaten all baby food, hasn't turned his nose up to anything. He has had mashed potatoes, loves avocado. We give him peas, cut up carrots and roman noodles. He also likes grilled chicken.
We really didn't celebrate 9 months like we normally do with our "9 Months" sign. We'll do that tomorrow hopefully. Monday was busy day, as Holden had to have a minor surgery to fix his private area. Nothing to worry about, he is doing fine! He was such a trooper, never shed a tear.
We enjoyed this afternoon with some family time at the Pumpkin Patch. Here are a few of my favs:
