It keeps Growing and Growing and Growing

24 weeks- Lovely hotel room in Tampa, FL

25 weeks- yesterday

The Belly Pic- 25 weeks- This Morning

Things are going well.  He moves around a lot.  Dont have any cravings really and haven't started eating everything in sight.  Both are good things I guess.  It's about to get really busy.  I was in Tampa for training last week, so Holden has now unofficially been to Boston and Tampa.  My little world traveler.  This past weekend we had the Ellis Family Reunion (inlaws side) in Corsicana.  It was great seeing everyone.  It was the first time for them to see me since we announced we were having a baby.

I didn't take too many pics, but here is one of Charles, with his brother James and oldest niece Jessica.

The Ranger's first World Series game is tonight!  So the next week or so will be filled with cheers for them.  Dont have any plans this weekend for Halloween, hopefully we'll be able to get the nursery started.  Want to add some shelves and other items before we start painting.  THEN, next weekend is my first shower!  Cannot wait. My sister Marcie and Aunt Rocky are hosting for my Dad's side of the family.  They did such a cute job with the invite I cannot wait to see what they have planned.  The following weekend are my maternity pics, which I know is a little early, but the photographer that I found doesn't shoot in December and I figure I could kill two birds with one stone and use one of the pictures for our Christmas cards.  Then another shower for my Momma's side and Thanksgiving.  Then we have all the December/Christmas celebrations and get togethers.  Time is going to fly by.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Let's Go Rangers!

For some odd reason, maybe because I'm carrying a future All Star, but I never used to sit and actually watch an entire game, football, baseball, anything.  But this weekend, Holden and I got our sports fix.  We watched the Ranger's game Friday at the Rodriguez house with some friends and Saturday we set up our patio TV in the living room, so we could watch the Ranger game and the Texas game at the same time.  I laid on the sofa and watched both games all the way through.  Followed that up Sunday with the Cowgirl game and ate some homemade chili.  Yummy!

Zeus was sweepy after the long weekend of sports.

First Nursery Item

About 6:00 last night the door bell rang.  We weren't expecting anyone so I knew it had to be the UPS man.  I couldn't remember ordering anything recently so I automatically got excited thinking it was the bedding we had ordered the day after we found out it was a boy.

I was right, but, it was only the hamper!  Really, of all the items that they could have shipped first, the hamper.  I was expecting it all to come at once, so today I'm on a mission to get the status of the other items.  But it going to be really cute.  We already put the hamper together, it's the lone item in the nursery right now, just patiently waiting for it's mates.

TwEnTy 3

Let's see, these weeks and months get my all confused.  I'm starting my 23rd week and I have my 6 month check up tomorrow afternoon?  I think that's right.  Anyhoo, belly is definately growing.  No weight gain though the past few weeks, so I guess that's good.

It looks like I cut my hair, but I didn't.  And since I took this picture myself, I look stoned or something.  Crazy eyes.  Wont be doing that again.

Holden's "unofficial" weekend of FUN!

Although the little guy isn't here just yet, he got to experience a few first this weekend.  We started the weekend cheering on the Texas Ranger's in Game 3 of the playoffs, which didn't turn out so well.  BUT, we were rockin' the itty bitty Ranger's shirt.  I didn't get a picture, but needless to say, momma and Holden barely fit in the little shirt.  But hey, at least we were wearing it.

Then Sunday, we enjoyed the beautiful day at the Cowboys vs. Titans game.  We tailgated with Jearold and Cari, then enjoyed our end zone seats, just a few rows up from the field.  Thank you Mel and Dorana!

Man, I think I grew overnight.

We ended the weekend with a visit to the State Fair.  Chuck and I go each year on Columbus Day.  This year however was a little crazy.  It took us 2 HOURS to get there!  Traffic was horrible.  But, our good friend Rusty was happy that traffic was bad.  For him, these are the best fair days.  Rusty is the Director of the fair, so more traffic means more people at the fair.  When we finally arrived, we enjoyed ourselves though.  We meet up with David, Bekah and Dalton and a little later Chris and Cody.

We saw all the normal stuff, had a Fletcher's corndog, some Twister Tators and an ice cream cone to cool off.  It was a wonderful day outside.

We left around 5:00 or so and made it home in less than an hour.  Traffic was pretty light considering we left during rush hour.  We spent the rest of the night relaxing.  I definately needed it too.  Holden let me know the whole way home how ready he was for me to lay down.  After we walked all around the football stadium yesterday, then 4 hours at the fair, he was tired of me walking.  Zeus was ready for us to be home too.  He acts like he was out running the streets all weekend.

22nd Week

This past week was like Christmas.  Holden got a new onesie from a friend at work, that brought it back all the way from Peru.  Little Holden will be the only baby on the block rockin' the Peru onesie.

Then on Sunday, Jamie and I went and registered at Babies R Us and Target.  I was so excited.  I could barely sleep on Saturday night and was up at the crack of dawn on Sunday.  We had fun, even tried out the stroller in the store before I made my final decision.  Had to make sure that it was a smooth rider!

Holden is definitely growing.  He moves around a lot more now.  I can only imagine what it'll feel like in another month when he's running out of room in there.  Now it feels like he thinks my tummy is a jungle gym.  But I love every minute of it.  Have my next check-up on 10/14.  Maybe then we'll get to schedule a 3D sonogram.

22 Weeks

Someone asked for a Belly photo.  I guess it's OK to post that, only natural right? And I guess I need a new photographer, since the hubby cute my head off.
